DSST 25 - 25th Anniversary Swim Meet
Welcome to DSST's 25th Anniversary celebration. To commemorate this event, DSST is hosting a USMS sanctioned swim meet on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Coronado's Brian Bent Memorial Aquatics Complex. This event is for ALL USMS and FINA swimmers who wish to participate. A Friday Night Welcome Party and a Saturday Night Meet Celebration are also planned. Sign up on-line now at Club Assistant here. We prefer you signup on-line by September 9, 2010, however you can also signup by mail postmarked by September 3, 2010 or as a Deck Entry on the day of the meet by 9:30 am. The mail/deck entry form is here. Complete information is available here which you can print for your records. Please find our DSST 25 flyer here. Feel free to distribute the flyer to anyone you think might be interested in DSST 25. Open water swimmers: The world-famous La Jolla Roughwater Swim will be held the next day on Sunday, September 12. Why not make this a great swim vacation and participate in both events? Come join us for some fun in the sun!

DSST 25 Celebration Tickets and T-Shirts Only
If you will not be competing in the DSST 25 Meet, but would like to order tickets to the Saturday Night Meet Celebration ($25) and/or order DSST 25 T-Shirts ($15) please click here. You can also use this option if you’ve already signed up for the meet, but wish to now order more tickets or shirts. If you wish to attend the free Friday Night Welcome Party, just email James with attendee name(s) to meets@dsst.org so we can get a head count.
DSST Swim Suit for Purchase from Paradowski’s
If you’d like a DSST team suit for the DSST 25 Swim Meet or just for practice, you can order and purchase one directly from Paradowski’s by calling 858-569-6946 or 800-383-7984, or e-mailing info@paradowskisswim.com. Just let them know you wish to purchase a DSST team suit, what size suit you want, what type of suit (Speedo, Tyr, etc.), and be prepared for your method of payment. The DSST logo above will be applied to a dark blue suit – women’s centered on the chest of the suit, men’s on the right seat side of the suit. DSST 25 Swim Meet & 25-Year Anniversary Dinner
Don't miss out on all the fun, sign up today! Almost time until the DSST 25 Swim Meet and a day of fun in the sun September 11. The gay men's chorus ensemble will open with the national anthem, the fabulous duo of Johanna Daly and Aaron Burda will return to announce the meet, our sister team Long Beach Grunions are coming down, the Flaming Gaytor drag relay will be held after the meet, and DSST founder Mark Wussler will be the featured guest at the 25-Year Anniversary Dinner. For those who would like to swim in just relays, a "Relays Only" option has been added for the meet entry, at a reduced entry cost of $10. Hosted Housing needed for DSST 25 Weekend
As our DSST 25 Swim Meet approaches September 11 the need for hosted housing is also approaching. What a great way to share the experience of a great swim weekend by hosting a swimmer or two at your home. We need places for out-of-area swimmers to stay and this is also a great way to return the favor if you have utilized hosted housing yourself. Please do what you can by contacting James at meets@dsst.org.
Paradowski's at DSST 25
Paradowski's will have a merchandise tent at the Coronado Pool deck during our DSST 25 swim meet on September 11, and they will donate 10% of all sales revenues to DSST. If you need to stock up on your swimming supplies and it can wait until Sept. 11, think about shopping at the DSST 25 meet! Also, new DSST swim suits were made for the DSST contingent competing at the Gay Games in Cologne from Paradowski's. You can order your new team suits from Paradowski's.
